Birthday Party Ideas
Wine, cheese, and chocolate
Add a twist to the common wine and cheese party by adding chocolate to the mix. Use mini fondue sets or set a couple large Crock-Pots at each table for guests to indulge on melted cheeses (fontina is a great option) with breads and meats to dip. Then move onto the chocolate course. You could rent or buy a fountain for the chocolate, and to really go all out, have two chocolate fountains -- one dark chocolate and one white chocolate. Also, have a variety of dipping options for the chocolate -- get fruits like pineapple and strawberries and baked goods like mini cookies and Rice Krispie treats.
Surprise!
If you're going to make it a surprise party, you'll have to go the extra mile to ensure that the person you're throwing the party for doesn't find out. Make certain that the invitations clearly spell out that it's going to be a surprise so that there's no doubt in any guest's mind. And don't wait until the day before to figure out how you're going to get the surprisee to the party -- if they're going to believe you (and you're going to enact the plan with a straight face) you're going to need to have your moves down pat.
Rent an Inflatable Bounce House
Bounce House Rentals is good not only for kids, but as well for adults. If inflatable moon bounce is for a boy or a men try to choose that is good for boy theme. If it's a woman's birthday party rent pink purple colored party jumpers. There are as well Inflatable party jumpers featuring Disney Princesses or other well known characters. Well ... Each woman is a little princess deep in the heart.

Elephants of Asia at the LA Zoo
Elephants of Asia |
Los Angeles Zoo at Griffith Park: On December 16, 2010, the Los Angeles Zoo has opened its long awaited Elephants of Asia habitat with three Asian elephants: Billy, Jewel and Tina. While Tina and Jewel are older cows and will not be able to produce offspring, the Los Angeles Zoo’s hope is to bring in more cows so that Billy will have some offspring and the LA Zoo can help to build a population of this dying species of elephants.
Elephants are the world’s largest living land mammals. Male Asian elephants grow up to 11 feet tall and weigh six tons. Females are generally smaller. Compared to African elephants, Asian elephants are smaller overall, with noticeably smaller ears. They have just one “finger” on the top of trunk (Africans have two). Their foreheads are more rounded with two “lobes,” and their backs are more arched.

Capture the Flag
Capture the Flag: This is a fun interactive game for children ages 6 and above. Get 2 flags (if you don't have one you can buy them from $1 stores) and divide the group of children into 2 teams. Place the 2flags on opposite sides of the lawn in an easy to reach area, such as on a low tree, or a chair if necessary. The goal of the game is for the team to capture the opposing team's flag safely without being tagged. If they are a tagged, they must go to "jail" where they will be released when all team members are placed in jail or the game ends, whichever comes first. The first team to capture the other team's flag wins! you can also add a bounce house rentals and and enjoy the fun of jumpers after the game. This is a great game for any party.

MARINA DEL REY: NO FIREWORKS: NO BOUNCE HOUSES
MARINA DEL REY: NO FIREWORKS DISPLAY on JULY 4, 2011: This statement originally posted in Government site of Los Angeles sort of drop down my mood. I was planning to make a beach party on July 4th with my family and kids and later on enjoy the fireworks. I was planning to rent as wall an inflatable bounce house for a party. Then I find out not bounce houses nor water slides or any kind of inflatable play structures are allowed for beach parties. Later on it came up that BBQ ing is allowed in some locations only. What if someone wants to have a private party far away from others with family and kids? Do we have to go back to our homes to BBQ and bounce in the jumper or slide at our backyard on July 4th? I hope party rental industry wont suffer :)

Throwing a Party in Los Angeles (LA), California (CA)
Enchanting options abound when throwing a party in Los Angeles. LA is the home of the country's entertainment industry and the weather can be spectacular year round. Los Angeles is located right on the Pacific Ocean. There are many opportunities to take advantage of the surf and beach when planning a shindig. It is possible to rent a boat, not an inflatable, one to host a party, and this option is sure to be enjoyed by all, as there is nothing quite like relaxing with friends and family while watching the lights of LA start to twinkle in the evening from across the water when the yacht will "slide" around the shore. This is a cool type of party rental. If you are a home owner and want to get some water fun right at the backyard of your house the water slide will be perfect. Sometimes those kind of water slides are connected to a party jumper or a Moon Bounce turning it to a combination unit. This is a cool Party too.
I like the idea of home parties, because it is cost affective and is right at your home. No traveling headaches in LA traffic
